1. The month of March started off with a party celebrating our little neighbor Virginia's very first birthday. Favors included pink balloons. 2. I'm so enchanted with these porcelain flowers made by New Jersey artist Vladimir Kanevsky, who was highlighted in WSJ. Magazine's March issue. 3. Wet feet. 4. Naturally, Frances has developed a fondness for tea parties. She truly is a little girl. 5. Cheers! 6. We visited her Nana and Papa in Florida. I love watching her experiment with all of the same gadgets and trinkets I did growing up in that house. 7. Bedding options for the nursery. 8. Indulging in both a bacon, egg and cheese cheddar biscuit sandwich AND a chocolate croissant from Sunflour Baking Company. 9. Picnic at Colonial Park. 10. This scene was the start of my very first weekend at home all alone since Frances was born. We shared an intimate, acoustical evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt at The McGlohon Theater . They were so fun! 17. We try to include Frances in our experiences with the arts as often as we can. Here she is with the best view in the house at the Sleeping Beauty ballet. 18. Eugene Onegin was my very first live opera. 19. Martin Short was not only hilarious, but just an all-around brilliant performer. 20. Stocking up for baby Spencer. 21.
